My Corporate Experience

I am a cause-driven person, with deep roots in environmental sustainability and diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging spaces. Spending time in the corporate sector may appear to be a somewhat counter-intuitive choice, but I maintain that I’d rather have one hand on the steering wheel than waving my fists at the unruly driver zipping past me. The private sector can be a powerful force for good, given its financial capacities and far-reaching entanglement in almost all areas of public life. I wanted to learn its language, the ways in which it ideates and makes decisions. And learn I did (in a much berated, yet nowadays very transparent industry: tobacco).
